Jonathan Childers began his career in the utility industry in 2014, taking on the role of Supervisor of Procurement, HR, and Facilities with Clinton Utilities Board (CUB). With a solid foundation in managing essential operational functions, he honed his skills in streamlining processes and enhancing organizational efficiency. In addition to his duties at CUB, Jonathan joined the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA) in 2022 as an instructor for the Utility Purchasing & Materials Management Program, where he shares his expertise and passion for the industry with aspiring professionals. Continuing to develop his career, Jonathan joined Ruffin & Associates in 2024, where he serves East and Middle Tennessee's Local Power Companies, further contributing to the growth and success of the utility sector in the region.
